The Golden Mile and Black Sage Bench is home to just the right mix of heat and heart. Our newly released 2019 Jackpot and Road 13 Syrah showcase the entire South Okanagan Valley, from the West Side to the East, mirroring the vineyard influences of these sites resulting in honestly-balanced, big, bold reds. Experience has taught us you can’t make great wine without good dirt and hard work, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

This Syrah is a blend of all 7 different blocks of Syrah from the East and West sides of the Okanagan Valley. Each block was hand-harvested, sorted, gently destemmed, and fermented individually to maximize the character from each block of Syrah.

The Syrah for this wine is 75% from our Golden Mile Bench Vineyard (West Side) and 25% from our Black Sage Bench Vineyard (East Side). The grapes were hand-harvested, sorted, gently destemmed (berries kept whole), fermented and kept on skins for 28 days before being gently pressed off the skins.
