An industry leader, Donna has key experience working in hospitality, tourism and sales and makes an excellent manager of the Road 13 team. At Road 13, Donna oversees day to day operations and acts as a liaison between the owners, winery staff and the sales team. Donna is excited to work with such a strong team and is happy to oversee daily activities so Mick and Pam Luckhurst can spend more time visiting customers, both at the winery and in the communities where the wines are sold. Donna also looks forward to growing the Road 13 Cellar Club and welcoming club members to the winery’s tasting lounge.
Donna has a strong background in sales and hospitality. She developed her sales skills in Vancouver, but decided to make the move back to the interior to work for Vincor Canada, where she acted as Interior Sales Manager. From there, Donna worked at Nk’Mip Cellars as Hospitality Manager, where she was part of the opening team, and eventually to Manager of Hospitality Relations for Jackson-Triggs Okanagan, Inniksillin Okanagan Estate and Nk’Mip Cellars.
Following her work with Vincor, Donna expanded her wine experience to work as the Acting General Manager of the BC Wine Institute. Her depth of experience and passion for wine led her to Road 13 Vineyards. The variety of the position that Pam and Mick Luckhurst offered truly piqued her interest.
A strong industry supporter, Donna is excited about the quality of BC Wines and the growth the regions have experienced.She is two-time past president of the Okanagan Wine Festivals Society, and continues to be on the board of directors for the BC Wine Information Society.
